Mrs. Vidad is a qualified sanitary engineer licensed in Philippines. She has more than 20-years of experience as a sanitary engineer in the Philippines Department of Health (DOH), including practical field experience and experience developing tools and guidelines for WASH issues in both emergency and non-emergency contexts.
For five-years, Mrs. Vidad worked with UNICEF-Philippines, supporting DOH programs with water districts and local government units to improve water and sanitation service delivery.
Mrs. Vidad also supported UNICEF’s field responses to the 2013 Bohol earthquake and the 2014 Typhoon Haiyan.
Mrs. Vidad has conducted Water Safety Plan training for many water districts and local government units in Philippines and has support the planning and implementation of participatory sanitation projects in numerous communities.
